Lotti Krekel was a German singer and actress who was born as Hedwig Charlotte Krekel in Roetgen, Germany, in 1941. She achieved professional recognition in 1958 after debuting at the Millowitsch-Theater and is famous for her work in the Kölsch dialect and for the carnival hit âMir schenke der Ahl e paar Blömcherâ (1970). Krekel began her career as a child actor in radio plays and became nationally recognized through televised theater productions. Her musical career began in 1969 with the release of the duet âNe Besuch em Zooâ alongside Horst Muys. Her discography includes the singles âEin liebes Wort zur rechten Zeitâ (1968), âIn der Kaygass Nummer Nullâ (1969), and âÃvver Kaffee koche künne kann se jootâ (1972). As an actress, she appeared in films such as Der wahre Jakob (1960) and Willy, der Privatdetektiv (1960) and was a member of the cast for the series Die Anrheiner. Krekel died in 2023.
