Biography
Locomondo, a Greek reggae, Ska, and Caribbean music band formed in 2004 and fronted by Markos Koumaris, gained initial recognition with their debut album ÎÎ½Î±Ï Î¤ÏελÏÏ ÎÏÏÎ¼Î¿Ï in 2005. Their breakthrough came with the release of 12 ÎÎÏÎµÏ Î£Ïη Jamaica in 2005, recorded in Jamaica and featuring notable hits such as a reggae cover of Markos Vamvakaris' "ΦÏαγκοÏÏ
Ïιανή" and "Îεν Îάνει ÎÏÏο...". The band collaborated with various international artists, including Amparo Sanchez and Natty Bo, on the album Me Wanna Dance, and released the single "Goal!" in 2010. Locomondo's music has been featured in films like Fatih Akinâs Soul Kitchen and supported environmental and humanitarian organizations such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International.
