Biography

Lisa Maria Miskovsky, born in 1975 in Holmsund in Västerbotten County, Sweden, is a Swedish singer known for her work in pop, pop rock, and alternative rock. Her music career placed her on the charts with her debut album Lisa Miskovsky released in Sweden in 2001. Subsequent albums include Fallingwater (2003), which climbed to Number 1 in the Swedish pop charts and achieved platinum sales, featuring hit songs "Lady Stardust" and "Sing to Me". She also performed the theme song "Still Alive" for the video game Mirror's Edge; a remix album titled Still Alive: The Remixes was released in 2008. Miskovsky entered Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2012 with "Why Start a Fire" and again in 2022 with "Best to Come".
