Biography

Dennis van Aarssen (born 2 June 1994, in Dordrecht) is a Dutch jazz and swing singer. He gained recognition for performing renditions of tracks by Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé on a digital video platform, citing Robbie Williams’ album Swing When You’re Winning as an early influence. In 2019, van Aarssen won the ninth season of The Voice of Holland. His recording career began with the debut studio album Forever You (2019), which achieved gold status and earned an Edison Jazzism Audience Award in 2020. The career included the theater tour Start Spreading The News, featuring thirty-one performances throughout the Netherlands. Subsequent releases included the albums How To Live (2021) and Christmas When You're Here (2022). In 2024, he collaborated with Jeff Franzel on the album Just Call It Love, which received a second Edison Award. His discography also featured the album Souvenirs (2025).
