Bjørn "Lillebjørn" Falk Nilsen, born on December 21, 1950, in Oslo, Norway, was a Norwegian singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey as part of the duo the Young Norwegians with Bjørn Morisse, gaining initial recognition from 1966. After the duo disbanded in 1968, Nilsen embarked on a solo career, releasing the album Portrett in 1973. Notable songs include "Barn av regnbuen" (1973) and "Haba Haba" (1974). Nilsen won the Spellemannprisen awards in 1973 for Portrett and in 1982 for Original Nilsen. He was also part of several collaborations, including Ballade! and Gitarkameratene. Throughout his career, he received numerous accolades, such as the Fritt Ord Award (1987) and the Gammleng Prize (2010). Nilsen passed away on January 27, 2024.
