Biography

Liana Flores, born 2â¯Juneâ¯1999, is a BritishâBrazilian singerâsongwriter and guitarist raised in South Norfolk, England, to a Brazilian mother and a British father. Her early exposure to bossa nova informed a blend of indie pop and Britâfolk that she developed while learning piano as a child and picking up guitar in her midâteens to play the bossa nova pieces she loved. After independently releasing the EPs The Water's Fine! in 2018 and Recently in 2019, Flores gained viral traction on social media with her 2021 single "Rises the Moon". The track earned an RIAA Platinum Award in Februaryâ¯2024, surpassing one million units. Flores released her debut studio album, Flower of the Soul, on Verve Records in Juneâ¯2024. Flores has also toured extensively, opening for Laufey on the Everything I Know About Love tour in 2022, supporting Mattâ¯Maltese in 2024, and joining Menâ¯Iâ¯Trust on the European leg of their Equus tour in Octoberâ¯2025. Flores launched her first headlining USâUK tour in Juneâ¯2024, followed by a global tour across Europe, Asia, and the United States to promote Flower of the Soul.
