Biography

Leila Forouhar, born on February 23, 1959, in Isfahan, Iran, is a singer. She began her artistic career as an actress at age five and started professional singing training at 14. Her early works include "Shamim" and "Delam Tangeh". Forouhar released her first album, Do Parandeh, in February 1990. Following the Iranian Revolution, she migrated to Los Angeles in 1986. She continued releasing albums such as Hediyeh (May 1991), Shance (December 1991), and Hamsafar (May 1993). Forouhar is known for her ability to perform both pop and traditional Persian music, and she has held numerous concerts worldwide. Notable achievements include performing at the Kodak Theatre in 2003, 2008, and 2018, and participating in the International Nowruz Celebration at the Thomas Jefferson Hall of the Library of Congress in 2010.
