Nasreen Qadri, known professionally as Nasrin Kadri, was born on September 2, 1986, in Lod, Israel. She is an Arab-Israeli singer of Muslim descent who later converted to Judaism. Kadri began her musical journey by performing in bars and nightclubs at the age of 18, drawing from a repertoire that included Arabic pop classics by Umm Kulthum and Nancy Ajram. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she won the second season of Eyal Golan kore lâkha, a casting show on Music 24. Kadri released her debut album Nasreen Qadri in 2014, followed by Benadik in 2016. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable artists such as Idan Raichel and Ivri Lider, and performed at significant events including the Israeli Independence Day celebrations on Mount Herzl. Kadri's music spans various genres, including Arabic pop and oriental pop, often blending Western influences with traditional Middle Eastern sounds.
