Lee Soâna, born on Februaryâ¯21â¯1991 in Seoul, is a South Korean singer who transitioned from a decadeâlong career in traditional Korean music to the trot genre. After graduating from the National Traditional Arts High School in 2009 and the Korean National University of Arts in 2014, she was designated as the 57th important intangible cultural heritage bearer for Gyeonggiâfolk songs in 2014, and performed at the 17th Presidentâs inauguration in 2020. Her pivot to trot began with a rigorous fiveâmonth training that led to a debut at the 2021 Trot National Games, where she earned an âAllâStarâ accolade and advanced to the third round. She released her debut single album Be Attracted To on Juneâ¯25â¯2021, featuring the tracks "Be Attracted To" and "Sweet Love", and followed with the 2022 single "This Love". Lee Soâna also competed in MBNâs Hello Trot (finalist, 2021) and TV Chosunâs Miss Trotâ¯4 (2025), while continuing to appear on variety shows and live performances across Korea. She sang the track "Gangwon-do Arirang" on the Miss Trot4 Talk Concert album which topped Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart the day it was released.
