Biography

Choi Young-cheol, also known as Choi Ga-ro, is a prominent South Korean singer born in 1960 in Boeun County, Chungcheongbuk-do. He debuted as a singer in an underground live club in 1982 and gained fame as the vocalist for the group McKinse. His breakthrough came with the release of "Hamgyeongdo Twist" in 2000. In 2025, he released a brand new single 'Love is the best'.
