Kim San-ok (born April 9, 1979, in Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do) is a distinguished Korean traditional musician renowned for her expertise in traditional Korean music. She graduated from Jeonju Arts High School and pursued advanced studies in Korean traditional music at Chonnam National University, where she completed a doctoral course. Kim gained national recognition after winning the Joseon Panstar competition in 2021. She has contributed to both traditional and contemporary Korean music, releasing works such as "PANSTAR CHRISTMAS SONG" (2021) and "Beautifully Dressed Butterfly" (2025). Through her performances and academic pursuits, Kim San-ok continues to promote and preserve Koreaâs rich musical heritage.
