Kybba (born in Salento, Italy) began his journey in the culturally rich world of dancehall and Latin nightlife before relocating to Amsterdam in 2016, where he founded the Basshall Movement—including Basshall Records, TV, publishing, and events—as a platform to reshape global urban music scenes. Over the next years, he gained acclaim for his ability to blend dancehall, Latin, African, and Caribbean rhythms into a high-energy, genre-defying sound that resonated worldwide, leading to more than 100 million streams and over 1 million subscribers . His breakout productions include infectious tracks like “Pon Di Ting,” “Heavy,” “CON TO,” “Dale,” and “Pilot,” which propelled him onto festival stages large and small. In 2024, he landed major collaborations with dancehall icons Sean Paul and Busy Signal on the viral single “Ba Ba Bad” and began performing at top-tier events, including Tomorrowland and sold-out European tours.
