Biography

UK indie-rock duo King Hannah were formed in Liverpool by Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle and released their debut EP, Tell Me Your Mind and I'll Tell You Mine, in 2020 on City Slang. The EP's lead single, "CrÃ¨me BrÃ»lÃ©e," became a standout track, instantly putting them on the indie map. They released their debut full-length album, I'm Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me, in 2022. Produced by Ali Chant, (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Perfume Genius), the pair's second album Big Swimmer arrived two years later, inspired by their first tour of the US and time spent in the southwestern deserts of New Mexico. The title track was one of two songs on the LP to feature vocals from indie hero Sharon Van Etten.
