Bar Italia (often stylised as bar italia), is a London-based band consisting of members Nina Cristante, Sam Fenton, and Jezmi Fehmi. Bursting onto the scene in 2020 with their debut studio album Quarrel, and EP Angelica Pilled, the group continued to build momentum with second album, Bedhead" the following year. In 2022, they released EP CDR as well as singles "Banks," "Miracle Crush," and "Polly Armour," gaining further recognition after CDR was ranked at Number 1 on Gorilla vs. Bear's list of the best EPs of 2022. Recognised as a promising act by The Face magazine and crowned “#1 rising star to watch in 2023” by The Times, the band was signed to Matador Records in March, releasing Tracey Denim in May, featuring popular tracks "Nurse!" and "Punkt," and announcing a European and North American tour which would be coinciding with new album The Twits, slated for a November release. The album’s lead single "Changer" hit number 18 on the charts in October. Following the release of the EP The Tw*ts in June 2024, the band recorded their fifth full-length, Some Like It Hot (2025), featuring singles "Cowbella", "Fundraiser", and "Rooster".
