Biography

Kevin Coballadé, known professionally as Kevin Ceballo, was born on October 12, 1977. He is an American singer of Puerto Rican descent. Raised by Adventist parents who discouraged secular music, Ceballo developed a secret passion for Latin music during his adolescence. He attended the High School of Music & Art in New York and began performing as a chorister with a local salsa group. His breakthrough came when Isidro Infante invited him to become a lead singer on the album Licencia Para Engañar (1998). In 2000, Ceballo launched his solo career with the album Mi Primer Amor, featuring hits like "Qué Clase de Hombre" and "Quiero Bailar", earning him "Artist of the Year" awards at Premios Lo Nuestro and Univision Awards. He performed at notable events such as the Verizon Music Festival (2002) and Broadway's The Look of Love (2003).
