Ken Kiprono Ring (born January 29, 1979) was a Swedish rapper from Hässelby. Ring released the recording âMammaâ and the debut studio album Vägen tillbaka in 1999. The album featured the recording âEld och djupa vattenâ and reached number 8 on the Swedish charts. During a performance at Vattenfestivalen in 1999, Ring was arrested for the lyrics of the recording âSpräng regeringenâ. Following the release of the album Mitt hem blir ditt hem in 2000, which reached number 16, Ring was dropped by his record label. Ring subsequently released music independently and collaborated with Norwegian producer Tommy Tee on the album 2 legender utan pengar in 2004. His discography included the albums Ãntligen hemma (2007) and Hip Hop (2009), the latter reaching number 9. In 2013, Ring appeared on the television program SÃ¥ mycket bättre. Ring announced his retirement from music on April 12, 2021.
