Biography

Born in Alexander City, Alabama, singer, musician and songwriter Kashus Culpepper is a Navy veteran who turned to music. He began singing in church as a child, and became particularly interested in blues and country, developing his own style as he performed five concerts a week on local stages. Settling in Nashville, he joined the country community and made a name for himself through social networks and listening platforms. His first single, "After Me?", released in 2024, went viral before entering the Top 40 Radio Adult Alternative Songs, and "Who Hurt You" was also a hit online. Since then, Kashus Culpepper has released other songs such as "Out of My Mind" and "Pour Me Out", followed in 2025 by "Jenni" and "Talk with Me".
