Biography
Jukebox the Ghost is an American power-pop trio from Washington, D.C. Formed in 2003, the ensemble consists of Ben Thornewill on vocals and keyboards, Tommy Siegel on vocals and guitar and Jesse Kristin on drums. The musicians met while attending George Washington University and initially performed under the name The Sunday Mail. The group released its debut album, Let Live & Let Ghosts, in 2008. Their subsequent recordings included the albums Everything Under the Sun (2010), Safe Travels (2012) and the self-titled record Jukebox the Ghost (2014). In 2015, the band signed with Cherrytree Records and performed the song âPostcardâ on the television show Conan. The ensemble also released the albums Off to the Races (2018) and Cheers (2022), the latter featuring the single âCheersâ. The band has toured with acts including Ben Folds, Barenaked Ladies and Guster. In 2025, they released the album Phantasmagorical Vol. 1.
