Joshua Rogers, born on March 22, 1994, in Greeleyville, South Carolina, is an American gospel singer. He began his musical journey singing and playing drums at his grandmother's Apostolic church. In 2012, Joshua Rogers auditioned for the fifth season of Black Entertainment Television's Sunday Best, where he quickly gained popularity among fans and judges Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and CeCe Winans. Host Kirk Franklin nicknamed him "Young Buck." After weeks of strong performances, including "Peace Be Still", "Well Done", and "We Expect You", Joshua Rogers won the competition, becoming the first male and youngest champion. His victory earned him a cash prize, a 2013 Ford Escape, and a recording contract with Music World Entertainment. Following his win, Joshua Rogers released his debut album Well Done on December 4, 2012, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Gospel Album Charts. His subsequent albums include Unconditional (2013) and Returning (2018).
