Biography

Jesse Carmichael formed Kara's Flowers in 1994 with Adam Levine and the other future members of Maroon 5. After the failure of The Fourth World, the band's only album in 1997, he went back to school with Adam Levine. Initially a guitarist, Jesse Carmichael gradually moved over to keyboards, a position he occupied when Kara's Flowers reformed as Maroon 5 in 2002.
