Biography

Ángela Susana Pereda Estrada, born on  June 18, 1949, in Gijón, Asturias, is an actress, singer and vedette who rose to prominence during Spain’s Transition. After moving to Madrid in the 1970s, she appeared in destape films such as Las tres perfectas casadas (1973) and La trastienda (1975). Her first single, "Ya Me Voy De Tu Vida" (1978), launched a disco‑soul career that culminated in the albums Machos (1980) and Amor y Libertad (1981), the latter featuring explicit themes. Ángela Susana Pereda Estrada’s cultural impact peaked with a 1978 photo at the Pueblo awards and the film El maravilloso mundo del sexo (1978). After a decline in the 1980s, she returned to film with a cameo in Los años desnudos (2008) and was the subject of the 2021 documentary Susana y el sexo.
