Biography

An eccentric figure on the electro scene, Jef Barbara made a colorful arrival in 2009 under the moniker Jef & The Holograms and with the EP Barbara Blanca. The androgynous Canadian, cultivating references ranging from Andy Warhol and Divine to George Michael, attracted the attention of Bertrand Burgalat's Tricatel label. Their collaboration on the EPs "Larmes de crocodiles " and "Caresses interdites " continued with the debut album Contamination (2012), from which the track "Wild Boys" is taken. In September 2013, after the EP I Know I'm Late, follows the second album Soft to the Touch.
