Biography

Scandroid is an American electronic music project created by Klayton in 2013. The project initially included Varien, who later departed to focus on his solo career. Scandroid's debut single "Salvation Code" was released on August 6, 2013, marking the beginning of their musical journey. Their self-titled album Scandroid was released on November 11, 2016, and charted at Number 20 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and Number 5 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album included a cover of "Shout" by Tears for Fears, which Klayton had intended to record since 1985. Following this, Scandroid released Dreams of Neo-Tokyo in March 2017, featuring remixes of vocal tracks from their debut album. The project also saw the release of Monochrome, their second full-length album, on October 27, 2017, which charted at Number 18 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and Number 3 on the Top Dance/Electronic Album Sales.
