Biography

Iva Frühlingová, born on May 11, 1982, in Litvínov, Czech Republic, is a singer of Czech origin, singing in French and Czech. At age 14, she won a modeling contest and moved to Paris, where she worked with the international agency Elite. Her music career began with her debut single "Où tu veux, quand tu veux" in 2002, followed by her first album Litvínov in 2003. Frühlingová gained wider recognition with her second single "La muerte". She collaborated with Benjamin Biolay on "Une chaise à Tokyo" and Jean-Louis Aubert on "Océan", and opened for Raphael. In 2005, she released Baby Doll, followed by Strip Twist in 2007. The song "Partir et revenir" was selected to compete for the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, but was not selected.
