Biography
Ironic Hue is a South Korean rock band formed in Daegu in 1997, featuring Kim Jiâhun (vocals), Jo Inâsoo (bass), Hyeon Kyungâmi (guitar), and Gwak Jungâhoon (drums). They released the digital single "Fantasy" in 2012 after their 2007 debut EP Into the Mirror. In 2014 they issued the album For Melting Steel, which strengthened their position in the Kârock scene. Singles "It Is What It Is" and "Monkey" (both 2025) expanded their catalog. The band earned a nomination for Best Modern Rock Album at the 2015 Korean Music Awards and has appeared on programs such as TOP Band 2 and EBS Space Empathy. Their single "It Is What It Is," released in September 2025, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 20 on its release day.
