Biography
The Redemptions, consisting of members Hanshin Young, Cho Yeon-woo, Cha Se-min, and Kim Jae-ha, debuted on December 15, 2021, with the single "Summer Day." Rooted in the Hongdae music scene, this four-member rock 'n' roll band embraces a mix of garage, rock 'n' roll, and post-punk styles. By October and December 2023, they released their first full albums, The Redemptions Part.1 and The Redemptions Part.2, and in Spring 2024, they were selected for an indie label project by Ruby Records, releasing the EP Escape from Shawshank containing five tracks. The band actively performs live at clubs, festivals, and on the radio, not limited by venue type. In March 2025, they released the single "Be Numb Freak".
