Biography

ABTB, a Korean rock band formed in 2014 in the Republic of Korea, emerged from a collaboration of drummer Kang Dae-hee and bassist Jang Hyuk-jo with vocalist Park Keun-hong. Their breakthrough came with the release of the single "doublethink" in 2017, followed by "Free Rider", which helped establish their alternative‑hard‑rock sound. In 2016, they debuted with the album Attraction Between Two Bodies, and in 2020 released daydream, earning nominations for Best Rock Album and Song at the 14th and 18th Korean Music Awards, the latter securing a win in 2016 and both awards in 2021. After Park Keun-hong departed in 2022, the group issued iii, featuring guest vocalists Kim Bada, Cho Kyu-hyun, Lee Yoon-chan, and Bae In-hyuk. The single "Jimi the Poser" was released in April 2026 and entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 13 the same day.
