Biography

Irigy HÃ³naljmirigy, a Hungarian comedy/parody band, was formed in 1990 at a New Year's Eve party. The group debuted with their first album, FetrengÃ©s, in 1994, featuring parodies of classic Hungarian rock/metal bands and pop music. Their popularity grew significantly with the release of A Csillagok HÃ¡borognak in 1996, leading to concerts in large arenas. In 2000, their TV show Irigy HÃ³naljmirigy Show began airing on TV2 and ran until 2010. Notable releases include RÃ¡ncdalfesztivÃ¡l (2000), FlÃºgos Futam (2001), and K.O.MÃ©dia (2007). Former member ZoltÃ¡n "Zoli" Ambrus passed away in 2019 at the age of 54.
