Biography
Into It. Over It. is an indie rock band founded in 2007 by Evan Thomas Weiss from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Weiss's early exposure to emo music led him to form his first band, J.A.R., which later became the Progress. After its disbandment in 2008, Weiss started Into It. Over It. with concept projects 52 Weeks and Twelve Towns. In 2010, the band released the split EP, Snack Town, with Castevet on Topshelf Records. Weiss's debut studio album, Proper, was released in 2011 on No Sleep Records. The band supported acts like the Swellers and the Wonder Years on tours throughout 2011 and 2012. In 2013, Into It. Over It. released their second studio album, Intersections, on Triple Crown Records. Weiss and touring drummer Josh Sparks wrote the third album, Standards, in isolation at a cabin in Vermont, which was released in 2016.
