Biography
Idle Warship, an American musical duo, was formed in 2004 and consisted of Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli and Philadelphia singer Res. The duo released their debut mixtape Party Robot in 2009, which included songs such as "Metro" and "Screamin'". They had previously collaborated on several tracks, including "Too Late" from Reflection Eternal's Train of Thought (2000) and "Where Do We Go" from Talib Kweli's Quality (2002). The group toured together, including the summer 2005 MGD Flavor 2 Savor mini-tour. Idle Warship released their debut album Habits of the Heart in 2011. After Res accused Talib Kweli of sexual misconduct in 2018, Idle Warship disbanded.
