Biography
I Am Jerry is a German rock band from Sprockhövel, Nordrhein-Westfalen, formed in 2008 by Julian and Timm Kleinert, Feras Kaddoura, and Leonard Müller-Klönne. The group blends indie-electro-rock with hip-hop aesthetics. They gained initial recognition by winning the Ringrocker Bandcontest in 2011, which led to a performance at Rock am Ring. Following this breakthrough, I Am Jerry spent three years refining their sound in the studio and transitioned from English to German lyrics. In 2014, they signed with Warner Music. Their debut single "Vollkontakt" was released in May 2015. The band continued with the release of "Alles muss neu", which later featured Olexesh on a remix. I Am Jerry released their debut album Habicht in August 2016 and played numerous festivals that year, including the Hurricane Festival.
