Biography

Children of the 1980s, the three musicians of French rock band Colt Silvers first broke through in Strasbourg, from where they were signed to independent label DeafRock Records, published by BMG. But it was on stage, scouring Europe as well as the United States and Asia, that the band made its debut album Red Panda (2013) more widely known. Blending indie rock and electro, Colt Silvers soon hit the ground running in 2016 with a new album entitled Swords, mixed in New York by Fabrice Dupont, seen alongside bands such as The Dø, Santogold and Mark Ronson. On it, they unveil their groundbreaking collaboration with the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, as part of the Symphonie des Arts, featured on the track "Devil in Africa". But it's the first single, "2 Hearts", that attracts the most attention and helps the band establish their reputation.
