Hailing from the heart of the UKâs ever-evolving indie scene, Manchester, Westside Cowboy ride the line between gritty nostalgia and sharp modern storytelling. With jangly guitar hooks, moody melodies, and lyrics that wander through late-night streets and early morning regrets, their sound nods to British indie rock legends while carving out a voice distinctly their own. Formed in 2023, the four-piece band comprising Reuben Haycocks (guitar, vocals), James (Jimmy) Bradbury (guitar, vocals), Aoife Anson OâConnell (bass guitar, vocals), Paddy Murphy (drums) quickly built a grassroots following through raw, high-energy gigs. Their music weaves together influences from post-punk, Americana, and 2000s indie revival, creating a cinematic atmosphere that feels both intimate and anthemic. They kicked off their recording career in 2024 with their debut single "I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)," which was produced by Lewis Whiting of English Teacher. Two EPs followed, This Better Be Something Great in August 2025 and So Much Country 'Till We Get There in January 2026.
