Biography
Honeyglaze is an indie rock trio from South London, formed in 2020 by Anouska Sokolow, Tim Curtis, and Yuri Shibuichi. The band originated when Anouska Sokolow conceptualized Honeyglaze and met bassist Tim Curtis and drummer Yuri Shibuichi just before the COVID-19 lockdown. Their debut single "Burglar" was released in September 2021. In 2022, they released their self-titled LP Honeyglaze, which reached Number 1 on the UK Independent Album Breakers Chart. The band performed at notable festivals such as Green Man Festival and Sŵn in Wales, and supported acts like Wet Leg on their 2022 tour. In 2024, Honeyglaze signed with Fat Possum Records and released the album Real Deal, along with singles "Don't", "Cold Caller", and "Pretty Girls". The music video for "Don't" was nominated for Best Rock / Alternative Video â Newcomer at the 2024 UK Music Video Awards.
