Sakurashimeji is a Japanese male guitar duo formed in June 2014 by members of the young male talent group "EBiDAN39&KiDS" and officially started their activities as "Sakura Shimeji" in November. The duo consists of two members, Masanori Tanaka and Yohga Takada, and made their national debut in March 2015 with the single "ikuji nashi / netsugi no yume", followed by the second single "kimi deshita / sekigae no kami sama" in June and the third single "hajimaru kisetsu / sankyu" in January 2016, which reached No. 9 on the Oricon. Following "Hidari Mune" and "Ayama Rhythm," their first album "Harushimeji" was released in April 2018, reaching No. 11 on the Oricon; in 2020, as part of their 5th anniversary project, they released their second album "Keshimete, I am Sakura Shimeji." In 2020, as part of their 5th anniversary project, they released their second album, "I am Sakura Shimeji. In 2024, they changed their name to "Sakurashimeji", and in 2025, the 11th anniversary of their formation, they released their 4th album, "Utau koto, utau koto" in October.
