Biography

Hawoong (íì), born Lee Ha-woong on December 15, 1995, is a South Korean independent singer-songwriter and producer whose music blends R&B, soul, and indie influences. He began sharing his work on SoundCloud before making his solo debut on April 22, 2020, with the digital single âUmmâ¦,â following a brief period under INPLANET MUSIC and later transitioning to independent activities. A member of the collective Basement, Hawoong has steadily developed his introspective and genre-fluid sound through releases such as the EP WAYOUT #01 (2021), ESCAPE (2023), and singles including âMy Memoryâ and âNo!â in 2025.
