Biography

Hanne Margrethe Fredriksen Sørvaag, known professionally as Hanne Sørvaag, was born on December 27, 1979, in Stavanger, Norway. She initially lived in Stockholm, Sweden, composing for other artists through Universal Music Publishing Group. Under the stage name Paris, she released her debut album You Know Me in 2002 via Sony/Columbia Records, which featured three radio hits in Norway. Her second album, Talk of the Town, was released under her own name in 2006 on Diamond Road Music. Sørvaag has written songs for various international and Norwegian artists. In 2012, she released Cover Me, her most successful album in Norway, reaching number 10 of the national charts. Sørvaag has been involved in several Eurovision Song Contest entries, including "Disappear" by No Angels (Germany, 2008) and "My Heart Is Yours" by Didrik Solli-Tangen (Norway, 2010).
