Biography
Hunter Hunted, an indie pop band from Los Angeles, California, was formed in December 2012 by Michael Garner and Daniel Chang following the dissolution of their previous group Lady Danville. The duo's initial breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled EP in 2013. Their first show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles sold out, leading to appearances on Conan O'Brienâs late-night show and a residency at The Bootleg Theater. In June 2013, Hunter Hunted signed with A&M/Octone Records after being featured by Billboard's Scouting Report and MTV as an artist to watch. They toured extensively with acts like Weezer, Fitz and the Tantrums, and FUN., and performed at notable events such as SXSW and the Victoriaâs Secret Fashion Show pre-show. Their single "Lucky Day" from the album Ready for You (2015) was featured in Sperry's Shoes 2015 Top-Sider advertising campaign.
