Anne Lise Frøkedal, known professionally as Frøkedal, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter born on July 19, 1981. Before her solo career, she was a member of notable Norwegian bands Harry's Gym and I Was A King. In 2015, Frøkedal debuted as a solo artist with the release of several singles and an EP titled I See You. Her debut album, Hold On Dreamer, followed in 2016 under Propeller Recordings. The album was nominated for a Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammys) for Best Indie Album of the Year. In 2018, Frøkedal released her second album, How We Made It, which received support from various music publications including The 405 and CLASH Magazine. Her third album, Flora, was released in 2021 under Fugleben Records.
