Winterpills, an American indie rock band from Northampton, Massachusetts, formed in 2003. The group consisted of Philip Price (vocals, guitar), Flora Reed (vocals, keyboards), Dave Hower (drums), Dennis Crommett (guitar, vocals), and Max Germer (bass). Winterpills began their career by playing regionally in New England and released their debut eponymous album Winterpills in November 2005 on Signature Sounds. Their second album, The Light Divides, followed in February 2007. The band's third album, Central Chambers, was released in October 2008. Winterpills gained critical acclaim and streaming success. They shared the stage with notable artists such as Grant-Lee Phillips and Vampire Weekend, and were featured on NPR's Mountain Stage and World Cafe. Their subsequent releases included All My Lovely Goners (2012), Echolalia (2014), and Love Songs (2016). Nine years later, in 2025, they returned with This Is How We Dance.
