Biography

Hadiqa Kiani, born on August 11, 1974, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, actress, and social worker. She began her musical journey at an early age, receiving training from Nargis Naheed and later from Ustad Faiz Ahmed Khan and Wajid Ali Nashad. Her breakthrough came with the children's TV music program Angan Angan Taray, where she sang over one thousand songs. She won the NTM Viewer's Choice Award for Best Female Singer of Pakistan in 1995. In 1996, Kiani released her debut album Raaz. The following year, she became the first Asian singer to perform at the British National Lottery Live on BBC One. Her second album, Roshni (1999), included notable singles such as "Dupatta" and "Boohey Barain". Kiani has performed at prestigious venues like the Royal Albert Hall in the UK and The Kennedy Center in the USA.
