The band participated in the Turkish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 with "Resimler" and achieved notable success with the hit song "Ankara'dan Abim Geldi" in 1992. Subsequent albums include Mest of GündoÄarken (1998), GündoÄarken 1999 (1999), and Istanbul Athens Istanbul (2000). İlhan ÅeÅen passed away on May 26, 2025.
