Biography

Erin Grey Van Oosbree, known professionally as Grey DeLisle, was born on 24 August 1973 in Fort Ord, California. Daughter of a truck driver and a singer, she began performing as a teenager and pursued voice‑acting lessons after noticing a casting director’s suggestion, which eventually led to her career in recording music. She first appeared on the 2000 release The Small Time, followed by Homewrecker (2002) and Bootlegger, Vol. 1 (2003). Her 2004 album The Graceful Ghost introduced the single "I Don't Want Nothin'", and later releases such as Iron Flowers (2005), Borrowed (2022), She's an Angel (2023), and The Grey Album (2025). In 2026 she teamed up with soul singer Les Greene on the singles "The Pieces" and "I'm Gonna Let You Call Me Baby", followed by the joint album Grey & Greene, released in June 2026.
