Biography

Born in Nigeria, smooth jazz musician Greg Manning grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to the USA. Pianist, keyboardist, composer and producer, he studied at Boston's Berkleee College of Music and moved to Los Angeles in 2002. He has collaborated with many musicians, including Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright, Will Downing, Brian McKnight, Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliot, Chanté Moore and Kirk Whalum. He launched his own career, releasing the self-produced album The Calling in 2010, followed by Dance with You (2014), Sugar & Spice (2016) and Between the Sun and the Moon (2022). Author of several other off-album singles, Greg Manning in turn invites Julian Vaugh, John Stoddart, Jimmy Reid, Darrell Crooks, Chris Golden, Matt Cusson, Judah Sealy and Kirk Whalum on the album A Song for Peace, released in 2023. In 2025, he released the single "Remember the Time", which reached No. 30 on the Smooth Jazz Airplay Top 30.
