Green Zone is a South Korean popârock duo produced in 1994 by Kim Byeongâryong with two singers Kwon Seon-gook and Kwak Changâseon. The pair debuted with the single "Love Will Be" on 1â¯Novemberâ¯1994, and their first studio album, Green Zone, followed on 1â¯Novemberâ¯1994. The early releases Green Zone Vol.â¯II (1â¯Octoberâ¯1995) and Green Zone Vol.â¯III (8â¯Januaryâ¯1997) established the duoâs presence in the Korean pop market. In 1998, Green Zone Vol.â¯IV was released, featuring the hit "It Wasn't Late", which climbed to the top of the KBS âGayo Top Tenâ charts in early 1999. The duoâs most commercially successful album, Again⦠Green Zone, dropped on 24â¯Aprilâ¯2003 and produced the chartâtopping single "Ready To Go" that dominated KMTVâs Show Music Tank for two consecutive weeks. After a brief disbandment in Januaryâ¯2006, Green Zone reâunited in Januaryâ¯2009 and released The Seventh Diary on 21â¯Octoberâ¯2009, which earned the duo a nomination for Best Group at the 2010 Korean Music Awards. The group remained active until their final disbandment in 2017.
