Biography

Green Apple Quick Step, an American rock band from Seattle, began as Inspector Luv and the Ride Me Babys in Tacoma, Washington. The initial lineup included vocalist Tyler Willman, guitarists Steve Ross and Dan Kempthorne, drummer Bob Martin, and bassist Eric Munday. In 1989, they released a limited edition EP titled Another World. After Munday's departure in 1992, the band reformed as Green Apple Quick Step with new bassist Mari Ann Braeden. Their debut album, Wonderful Virus, was produced by Daniel Rey and released in 1993 through The Medicine Label. In 1995, their second album, Reloaded, featured vocal harmonies between Willman and Braeden and included the single "Dizzy", which appeared on the soundtrack of The Basketball Diaries. The song "Los Vargos" charted in Canada at number 23 on RPM's Alternative 30. The band disbanded in 1998.
