Iyael Iyases Tafari Constable, known professionally as Glamma Kid and born March 14, 1978, in Hackney, London, England, is a toaster and former Royal Air Force trainee of part-Jamaican descent. He received the Best Reggae Act award at the MOBO Awards in 1998. In 1997, he collaborated with the dance duo Basement Jaxx on the single âFly Lifeâ. In 1999, he released the single âTabooâ, which reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by âWhyâ, which also peaked at number 10. In 2000, he released his debut album, Kidology, which reached number 66 on the UK Albums Chart. He also worked with Beenie Man and Jamelia on the song âBling Bling Blingâ and featured Estelle on the track âComputer Loveâ.
