Biography
GANMI is an 11-member Japanese dance artist group formed in 2015 with the goal of sharing unique entertainment from Japan to the world. Rather than focusing solely on dance skills, the group was formed around the idea of gathering members who were fun to be around. GANMI gained international recognition in 2016 by becoming the first Japanese team to win the VIBE DANCE COMPETITION XXI in Los Angeles. In addition to choreographing for artists such as BTS ("Butter"), TXT, NCT U, LiSA, SixTONES, and AKB48, GANMI also produces original music under the CHOREO MUSIC project, including the release CHOREOMUSIC COMPILATION 03 (2025). Their work blends performance, choreography, and music with innovative media such as AR and full-performance videos.
