Friends Again were a Scottish new wave ensemble from Glasgow established in 1981. The group consisted of the musicians Neil Cunningham, Paul McGeechan, and Chris Thomson and included the musicians Andrew McGurk and Colin McGowan. McGurk and McGowan became inactive with the ensemble in 1982 and were replaced by James Grant and Stuart Kerr. Their recording career began with the track "State of Art" (1983) which reached number 93 in the United Kingdom. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the track "Honey at the Core" (1983) and the track "Sunkissed" (1983). Their discography included the extended play The Friends Again EP (1984) which reached number 59 and the track "South of Love" (1984). They achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Trapped and Unwrapped (1984). The ensemble became inactive in 1984. Grant, McGeechan, and Kerr achieved professional recognition for the ensemble Love and Money (1985) and Thomson for the ensemble the Bathers.
