Biography

Fresas Con Crema, a Mexican pop group, was formed in Mexico City in 1982. The original lineup included Mariana Levy, Toño Mauri, Daniela Leites, Andrés Bonfiglio, Claudia Fernández, Germán Bernal, and Denisse Bermúdez. Before their official debut, the group participated in various projects as extras. Their first album, Fresas Con Crema, was released on 1983, featuring the single "Me Enamoro". In 1984, they released their second album, Chicos Del Rock. After signing with PolyGram Discos in 1985, they changed their name to "Fresas" and released the album Ni Tan Fresas in 1986. The group won the award Los 15 Grandes de Siempre en Domingo for this album. Mariana Levy left the group in September 1987 during the promotion of their fourth album, Tour. In February 1988, Claudia Fernández also departed. The group disbanded in July 1988 due to internal conflicts.
